Celebrating Australia’s rich and cultural diversity and fostering a sense of belonging is something that should be included in classroom activities each and every day. Harmony Week is a perfect opportunity for students to take part in events and activities that promote cultural respect and celebrate the diversity of the school community.
We’ve put together some worksheets to help children celebrate Harmony Week in a fun and educational way, allowing them to participate in some whole-school activities. These “Bracelet” and “Crown” worksheets include the key message – “Everyone Belongs” and “Live in Harmony”. Students can cut them out, decorate them in their own unique style and wear them to celebrate Harmony Week. The worksheets are suitable for all ages and can be used as a super quick fill-in activity.
