A recent study commissioned by COS, surveyed over 1,000 Australian workers. The results showed that more than nine in ten (92%) workers believe employee wellbeing is crucial for enhancing workplace productivity.
However, the study also revealed a disconnect: while most workers felt they would be more productive if their workplaces prioritised wellbeing, only 69% believed their organisations were actively taking steps to do so. This gap highlights a potential misalignment between employee expectations and organisational initiatives.
