"Words for Peace" Worksheet Instructions:
The “Words for Peace” Worksheet is another excellent tool for teaching children about peace, focusing on expanding their vocabulary and understanding of peaceful concepts. This worksheet is particularly useful for language development and encouraging students to think critically about the meanings of different words associated with peace.
1. Download and Print: Start by downloading and printing both worksheets on A4 paper. These will be your base for the activity.
2. Colour and Personalise the Peace Worksheet: Carefully cut out the “Words for Peace” section from the first worksheet. Then, use crayons, markers, or coloured pencils to add vibrant colours and designs to this sheet, making it as unique and peaceful as possible.
3. Create and Decorate Peace Strips: From the second worksheet, cut out the provided strips. Encourage children to write their own words that represent peace—this could be ideas, feelings, or actions they associate with creating a peaceful world.
