A new survey, commissioned by COS, of 1,000 Australian workers shows that 80% of employees believe that their place of work prioritises their health and safety, a marked increase from the 70% shown in a 2023 survey.
At the same time, data from Safe Work Australia shows that workplace compensation claims have also risen.
In an interview with The Times, Amie Lyone, Co-CEO of COS shared her thoughts on the rapid rise of both feelings of safety and compensation claims, as well as detailing some of the ways in which COS is constantly improving workplace health and safety practices.
