- Colouring supplies (crayons, markers, or coloured pencils)
- PVA glue or glue stick
- Coloured markers
Template 1: DIY Valentine’s Day Pop-Up Gift Box:
Instructions:
1. Download the 2 templates – Pop up gift box and Pop up gift box – Strip.
2. Carefully cut along the marked lines on the first template.
3. The box cut-out will be the foundation of your pop-up box.
4. To make your box appealing, use vibrantly coloured crayons, pencils, or markers to fill the blank box.
5. Get ready to construct the gift box by folding it along the marked dotted lines. Apply glue along the edges and secure them to form a box, leaving one side open for the pop-up feature.
6. Cut the second template – paper strips for creating the pop-up effect.
7. Fold both the strips by overlapping the ends to create a paper spring. Glue this paper spring in the centre of the box’s interior and add a heart to the top of the spring.
8. For closing the gift box, cut along the slit line and pull the heart fastening through the slit to close the box.
9. You can insert small trinkets or candies inside the pop-up box before sealing it to surprise your loved ones.
Template 2: Paper Doily Heart Valentine Box
Instructions:
- Start by downloading the template and carefully cutting along the marked lines to create the foundation for your Paper Doily Heart Valentine Box.
- Use the cut-out as the base for the craft project, providing a sturdy structure.
- Encourage kids to unleash their creativity by adorning the heart-shaped box with markers, crayons, stickers, or other decorative elements. Inspire them to choose colours that capture the essence of Valentine’s Day.
